After climbing to the top of one of our nearby mountains,
take in the magnificent sight of the Tauern peaks and gaze down at the valley
below….. Just a few of the highlights you can look forward to.
Children will probably be most intrigued by the animals we allow to roam freely on the nearby pastures (rabbits, goats, hens, pigs, cows) or will spend hours at a time on the playground or safely building a dam in the gurgling mountain stream. Playing with rocks, twigs and pine cones, the time will simply fly by …..
In addition to that, our cabin guests are also invited to go fishing in our two small ponds. Yet another magical highlight: our marmots, who are quite literally right at home in the middle of our alpine grazing area!
Children have the opportunity to watch us milk our Pinzgau goats and then sample the fresh milk.
Our little cabin guests will be able to adopt our rabbit Klothilde & her daughter - during their stay, they will be able to feed, care for & give lots of love to our cute little furry friends.
As we said, the time will simply fly by!
If you do you ever feel the urge to go down into the valley, numerous sightseeing attractions await you in the nearby region.
One absolute must is the Adventure Park in Gröbming, the biggest of its kind in all of Austria.
For those days when the weather isn't quite as nice as it could be, two nearby spa resorts promise a soothing, relaxed and pleasant excursion: Grimming Therme and Therme amadé, or perhaps you would prefer to pay a visit to the Ski World Cup metropolis of Schladming (ca. 25 km away).
The world's biggest monastic library in Admont is a popular & memorable attraction located in the Schladming-Dachstein Region as well.
