The Galsterberg boasts 15 km of perfectly groomed pistes. It is part of the Schladming-Dachstein Region and a member of the Ski amadé ticket alliance! Beginners love the flat, easy slopes, while passionate skiers can see how they measure up on the longest permanent race hill in the region.
Littler guests love the "Gallic" flavor of the Galsterberg – featuring a "Gallic Kinderland" for older and younger kids, definitely the most exciting Kinderland in the region.
For even more wintry enjoyment, how about sledding: a 5 km long floodlit sled run promises wintertime tobogganing magic (also after dark on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays). The wonderfully scenic backdrop gives the Galsterberg a very special touch.
Ski touring has also grown in popularity in recent years. On sledding evenings (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), the pistes are likewise open for the enjoyment of ski tourers until 11 PM.
If you are standing on a pair of skis for the very first time or you wish to fine-tune your carving technique, you will be in the best of hands atski school amadeus.
