Back-country and piste ski-touring are growing in popularity on our mountains. The Galsterberg, in particular, has become a favorite ski-touring destination.
The pistes are also open to ski tourers during the daytime.
Ski touring is also permitted in the evening on the following days:
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 6 to 11 PM
The precise ski route as well as other information about ski touring on the Galsterberg can be found at www.galsterberg.at!
This is a beautiful tour accompanied by magnificent landscapes. The starting point is the Galsterberg valley station. The gondola will carry you up to the mountain terminal at the Bottinghaus, from where you will make your way on skis past our Galsterbergalmhütte and continue to the Pleschnitzzinken.
Experienced ski tourers can even set out from the valley station, following a path through forests blanketed in snow – away from the pistes.
